My gun is a PPK/S, Blue and one side does say "Made in the USA". If the S/N information you gave me is correct the gun dates to before 1983, I think! I picked up a Manurhin PP in .22 a few months ago and had never investigated the s/n for production date. It has a s/n of 11077 which makes it a pretty early production.
