Superwinch locking hubs
Jul 5, 2007. #1. My stock 1978 Scout II dana 44 manual hubs (27 spline, 6 bolt) have finally kicked the bucket. I've been scouring ebay for replacement parts so I can rebuild them (with no luck) but I'm leaning toward aftermarket hubs now. I have looked at Warn 9062, Milemarker 457, Superwinch 400502, AVM etc. and I'm just wondering what others ...Hello All, I'm trying to get my Superwinch hubs off my 96 Bronco, but seem to be stuck. I have the whole assembly out and got the bearing locknut socket kit (on loan). I don't see where/how any of these sockets will work! I'm not sure if there are extra parts of the hub and that the locknut is behind these. I can't seem to get anthing else out ...

The standard ones use a plastic cover, while the HD use steel and are way stronger. All Aisin manual hubs are interchangeable with each other, EXCEPT the Isuzu ones. It took me years of looking at Isuzu truck in junk yards to find a pair.
