Just put a Mo-Rod stainless strut on it. There is a serious differnece in the finish. The Mini's finish kind of looks like a duct tape color, while the Mo-Rod is more traditional stainless. So far I have fixed the crown on the barrel, reduced the trigger pull, and made sure the scope was rigidly mounted. I changed from Wolf steel cased ammo to some of my reloads.Yes, the older minis ejected more upwardly and do not have built in scope mounts. Once the ranch rifles came out they had horizontal ejection to kick the case out under the scope but it comes out more violently than from the older minis. I sold an early SS RR because it shot two directions: out the barrel and 90 degrees to that with hard, hot ... ….
