I'd be more concerned about it getting filthy and being annoying to clean. It's definitely gonna melt or peel on the exhaust tips. If you wanna change your exhaust tip color get it powder coated, not plasti dipped. It doesn’t melt the dip, if your tips get that hot you have serious mechanical issues.I used Hyperdip for the emblems and just about all other chrome pieces except the fog light strips. Everything has held up fine, except the matte finish shows water drops and was not perfect. It's scuffing in some spots, but overall was great.
