2011 duramax lml won't crank. Hey guys, I have a 2011 chevy 3500 drw with duramax lml that will not crank much less start. History: I recently hit a deer and had to replace all cooling systems in the front of my truck ( radiator, transcooler, intercooler, a/c condenser) along with both airbags and seatbelts. No wires were cut or damaged in the ....

Tried to start the truck. the engine was a junkyard engine pulled from a running wrecked vehicle. pulled engine apart and injectors and cp3 looked to be new. I modified the wire harness and i did accidentally cut one wire but i fixed that. Hey John, FYI I found out the injectors NEED minimum 1500 PSI of rail pressure to open, at least the LML with piezo injectors do, and I'd bet the older ones do too. Try installing the original FPR back in. Inspect the fuel lines to/from the CP4 and make sure they are not dry rotted/cracked or kinked in any way. To make a short story long. We bought a 2014 duramax with blown motor, with egr def delete. We bought a motor I was told it was a lml. Ended up being a lgh, out of a cab chassis 2013, everything matched up other then one egr plug. But being as egr is deleted it shouldn't be a huge deal, the truck cranks but won't fire up.Air its not bled out fully or more likely it is getting in from somewhere. Bleed screw, connectors from plastic fuel lines to engine metal lines, etc. I can unplug FPR/Inlet metering valve and rail goes to over 20,000psi cranking... I bled it and cranked it a lot, injectors just aren't "firing" or opening...
