The A/C on my 2005 silverado has the nasty habit blowing enjoyable cool air most of the time when it all of a sudden blow scaling hot air from the driver's side vents. The passenger side remains cool. It may go for days and not have this problem or it may repeatedly do this in one small trip around town..

Formula applied: turn on ignition to 2->roll down the driver side AC to low (lowest possible)->hold down off button while pressing rear frost button for 5 or more times->turn the ignition on😆. None of the three temperature sensors (cabin, ambient, and evaporator) should be related to this problem.If auto temp control: (1) Turn ignition switch to ON position.
