What i was told about the kit is that it is for hauling overweight.. Thats all i know about it. Thank you for the website and the info on the 4L80E.The 4L80E is a manual transmission that has a maximum engine input torque of 440 lb-ft and is capable of providing an output torque of up to 885 lb-ft. Many of the other specifications can be gathered by deciphering the name. From 4L80E, the 4 indicates that the transmission has 4 gears.

Well I read on some old thread that there are issues with bolting up Pre 2001 6.0's to 4L60e tranny's. Since you already have a 99-2000 6.0L (they had iron heads) it will bolt right up to the earlier 4l60E. The later Gen IIIs V8's have a different crank offset vs the Gen I 350.
